Tony Khindria founded Lexindia in 1987. As an Advocate, Solicitor (England and Wales) and Avocat à la Cour, Tony can practise law in three jurisdictions: India, England & Wales and France.

In 1995 he set up, Lexavoca, our affiliated English firm in London and Paris.

Prior to this, Tony worked in the French multi-national telecommunications manufacturer, Alcatel in Paris in the legal department's international division (1984 – 1986) where he was in charge of the Indian legal affairs of the Alcatel Group. Alcatel had been awarded a contract to supply the Indian Department of Telecommunications with telephone exchanges and transmission equipment and to transfer technology to Indian Telephone Industries for the whole of the Indian fixed line telephone network.

Tony is bi-lingual in in English and French with a knowledge of Punjabi and Spanish.
